I have an older Federal that has about 12 to 15 years on the cat.
While still working, I'd like to get a replacement while I can still find
one. With the cat on the chimney remains clear from year to year
and the annual cleanings yield only a couple handfuls of stuff. Doesnt
even matter when I mix pine and spruce with the other stuff, just keeps
everything clean. The cats 8 inch by approx 1 1/2 or 2 inch thick.
I tried it one year w/out the cat with aged oak from pallets with the
nails still in ( thats why I disconnected the cat ) and was amazed at the
stuff when I cleaned it the next year.
Any help locating one would be appreciated.
