Had the big double door open today and my neighbor
meanders over to see what I was doing
and she looks at the stacks of pellets in the garage
and says "wow you sure got alot of lawn fertilizer".
LOL. I told her what they were and that I have another
stack just like that in the sunroom. Her jaw dropped.
Most non pelletheads don't have a clue as to how many
bags ya need to heat a house for a season.

Last December after I had just bunkered the 2011-2012 stash several of my wife's quilting buddies were over and commented about all of the bags of compost in the garage.

My wife's response was that's not compost, the compost pile is at the top of the upper drive about 6 to 7 cubic yards worth at that time.

last yr my neighbor said the same thing about my stash. if it was lawn fertilizer, I would have the greenest lawn in the block last yr.

Ha! It is too funny.

Last spring one of the new neighbors asked me what type of landscaping project I was building.

Had no idea what he was talkin about at first...until he mentioned seeing a bunch of covered
pallets in the driveway.

Hey all. I think its funny what different types of comments I get from friends and nieghbors when they come over for a visit. I stack about 75 bags in my basement and have very limited space. I like to joke around with them saying that I use them like building blocks to make furnature. They get a kick out of it. But if you like you matress extra firm, that wouldnt be a bad idea. LOL.
