We actually picked up the Echo tiller/cultivator this year also, I believe they make the Mantis. Its a handy little thing if you already have broken ground, I have to say. Plus it makes digging ditches a lot easier, once you break through the sod. And the Echo has a lifetime warranty on the tines, which is really what sold me on it.
 
The two cycle engine on the Mantis was indeed a Kioritz/Echo engine. Maybe Echo bought the whole brand?
