Are you taslking about Englanders sold at Ace and home depot or alike? If so there have been quite a few posters, that have been satisfied with their stoves
 
Go to the bottom of my sig line and ask about them there and yes in the corn stove group as well. One of the sales reps for the company lurkes in the Yahoo gropu and he is pretty candid as well as helpful with questions. His name is Mike Holton. Most agree that while lacking a big hopper and all the instant self lighting stuff they are a good solid stove with a long track record equal to all the better ones. Mike once posted that their stove will easily burn 30% corn as well mixed with pellets which can help with the costs. Generally the Englanders cost about half of what the big name brands do which makes em a ver good deal. They do now make a corn burning version as well since last season.
