My brother's a plumber, fits flues and he can't tell me for sure whether or not it's possible to use a (cheaper) different manufacturers 90 degree elbow at the back of my stove.
I have a selkirk twin walled flue sytem going straight up but want to change it so the teenage kids can use the top & fuel the fire safely.

I nearly had a heart attack at the price of a matching component elbow and either the kids will just have to get burnt, or if I can fire cement/clipping band another cheaper elbow in place that'd be great. I don't know anything about flue designs. lol
