Advice on Shed Roof Joinery

    If your do, I don't see that roofing material holding up without supports. On a lighter note it should hold a lot of dry wood!

    It is now, but sagging and lateral play are things that happen over time. You'll probably be fine for several years to come. 8'-10' is about all I would want for a 2X6 span.

    Funny thing about California,. you're never far from an ocean, a snow capped mountain, or a dried out desert. And many micro climates in between.
