Am I being unreasonable?

inpatient maybe not unreasonable. I want people I do business with to keep their word. Perhaps its something out of his control. I would wait and get the product I want rather then get something that was not my first choice. Remember your going to have this insert a very long time.
 
I'd ask if it's at all possible to get it sooner, and when he told me "no", I'd tell him I understand. Then, remind him that the most important thing to you is getting a good quality install.
