Ok gentlemen...you asked how the new Husqvarna 372XP did on that big maple ...here's a couple of photos.

The big challenge was the massive limb overhanging the neighbors garage and putting a huge back load on the tree...you'll notice some damage to the neighbors garage that occurred during last winters ice storm up here in Michigan.

That's my friend Tim swinging in the tree...without him this would have never taken place...huge talent!

With my 2 trucks and Kubota putting tension...(and sinking in the yard) we finally got it to come over.....I was sweating bullets. I couldn't believe the amount of pressure it took to get it to come over!

I've cut many trees but I don't know if I would have taken the responsibility to cut that one down, good job! You'll have lots of wood from that monster! It looks like it had four trunks.

Wisc....it had 3...and that was one of the biggest problems....we were afraid they may split....we had to cut just a couple of inches off the ground

It looked like four from seeing one branch that went vertical was cut off. I have two Husqvarnas, one a little bigger than the 372xp that's ported and a 562XP that's going in to be ported in January. If you think your saw is the bomb now, let Tree Monkey or Wicked Work Saw at it for awhile and it'll be just nuts!

NICE work! Always good when a tree is SAFELY on the ground and ready to buck.:)
