I was wondering if that would make an appearance here
    or not . . .

    Thanks Hoss . . . they actually did a pretty good job . . .
covered most everything I talked about . . . I think it was
a slow news day which helped. I have to tell ya though . . .
it gets pretty tiresome when we keep repeating the same message over and over and it seems as though no one out there is listening . . . but hey . . . I still get paid regardless of whether folks pay attention and care enough to save themselves I suppose.

If it saves one, Jake, ................ and, it might. Maybe even somebody on here will watch it, and say, "Oh,MAN, I KNEW I forgot something .........." If you'd rather I didn't put these on any more, I won't, though. Also, it certainly wasn't a slow news day, we had the new episode of "The STORM OF THE CENTURY"

Yeah, you're right . . . just getting a little burned out with the job I guess.

And no, I don't mind at all . . . just means at any hearth.com gathering I will not be so anonymous and all my adoring fans will be wanting my autograph and the young women will be flinging their unmentionables at me when I walk by. ;)

Sad to see a single life lost due to a tragedy like this, but good on you Jake, for 'beating the dead horse' so to speak, by continually preaching what needs to be heard. I'm sure that the things you've done and said in your community and also here have helped more people than you may ever know. I can guarantee you that you've saved more than one life with the interviews and such.......

God Bless ya brother. Keep on preaching....;)

I wish like hell my local fire depts would ask to put such segments on our news. Or perhaps wish that the local news would ask the depts if someone would step up. Sometimes folks simply need to be reminded even of things they already know.

Very nicely done, Jake. Calm, professional, articulate, unhesitating, undoubtedly a subject matter expert. Very nicely done. Rick

As usual, a good job Jake. My Fire Prevention Officer has said many times "I intend to put you all out of a job!" He hasn't quite done that, but he has made a difference!
