I finally have my hearthstone homestead in and am really enjoying it.The question I have is after doing the break-in fires (3) according to the manual, and then 2 250-300 degree fires, I have noticed a few blisters 1/8 in high and about 1" around on both sides of the stove in the cement in the fire box. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal. Mine did the same thing and you could even see the water sizzle as the cement cured.
