After recently getting another sweet score, it was time to build another rack to store. I decided to go with the same layout as the other three, but I wanted to put a roof on this one. I added 2x4s equally spaced for support. Roof dips slightly because 2x4s don't sit between top and bottom plates.

Nice stacks Stax and nice rack,

Wow! That's great... You even have a helper!

Nicely done. Glad that little building inspector green- lighted the roof!

Stax, they don't have to be perfect. Yours look just fine.

A roof over stacked wood, is a "Wood shed"

Nice wood shed !
Full, It's a great wood shed ;)

nice build...how much wood do you figure it holds?

Thanks guys. A little over 1 cord. It's 16 ft. in length and 6 ft. high. Most of my splits average 16". 16'x1.5x6 =144 cu. feet.
