After collecting a cut up red oak down the street last week, I got lucky again.
We had a big storm a little over a week ago and my next door neighbor had a white oak (not very big) down in his back yard. Well, he has no stove, so I offered to take it away for him.
All I had to do was cut it up and throw it over the fence.

As said above even scores like that make the wood piles grow. I love neighbors like that.
