I know it's a newer stove but i was wondering if anyone has 1st hand experience with the new TL series and if the "burn time" of 18 hours quoted on the website is useable heat output or coals left for a restart without kindling. My dealer doesn' have anwser.

I have the Oakwood, which they rate at 17 hours. I can get about 8-10 hours max (usually less) of heat output, and 17 would be impossible - even having coals for a restart would depend on already having some coals from a few previous burn cycles. I expect you could get 10-12 hours with the slightly larger firebox, more or less.
