any one use a vacu-stack

i have a nasty smell coming from my wood stove it is all cleaned out burned it 1 time this year smells like smoke or burned wood was on the net and ran in to a site that has some kind of cap that you install on your chimney called a vacu-stack this pulls the air up the chimney. had this problem last year when i was not burning the stove for a few days and i coverd the air inlet with reynolds wrap and that help with the smell any help would be great
