    What ever it is We showed that thing whos boss. When in doubt brute force is how to deal with them monsters. we did good almost in the dark lol.

    I thought perhaps we had some with even closer up but guess I'll have to put that one on the list of to-do pictures. The thumbnails don't look too clear but click on them for full size and this should show both rounds and splits of ash.

    Thanks everyone for the pics...would say it is ash and will give me a decent amount of wood...hope to finish it up Friday after the snow passes and will post some pics

    Wife and I took another stroll through part of our woods today. I'm still amazed at how many more ash trees we have to cut. We also have a couple oaks that came out by the roots. Some trees that broke up top and those top limbs came down. Saw some soft maple like that today along with a couple of ash. For sure there is lots to do back there.
