Anybody want an OWB for cheap?

I suspect this guy might be selling an overfired one in the spring. I wish the picture would have turned out better, but I never remember to snap one when I drive by.

If you can't tell what it is, it's 20(plus?) pallets full of slabwood. Very thin looking stuff. This is what he has left for the season, so I imagine there was a little more when he started.

We had a neighbor who burned a good amount of slabwood in his but he never filled the firebox. Seems he used the slabs mostly in the spring when it was mostly for heating water. But, no doubt he got a good price and it makes easy work for him. I think the ease is what turns most of those folks to those OWB. They just want heat without too much work.
 
What is wrong with slab wood, it burns fine.
