Hi. I have a St. Croix 050 Corn Furnace that I am burning wood pellets in. I found that I have to burn softwood pellets or it clogs up with ash after just a few bags of hardwood. I also find that running it at only the highest setting works best. I installed a thermostat with it, but never use it anymore. I either just run it full speed or shut it off. Anyone else have one of these and run into the same issue?
