Anyone have trouble with their ductwork fan?

Hello

The 6" ductwork fan I purchased from Home Depot to get the pellet stove heat upstairs about 10 years ago suddenly stopped working. It is on a T-Stat, but I have a manual switch and it would not turn on at all. So I pulled it out, cleaned all the dust with shop vac and brushes, then put the TufOil Lubit-8 on the shafts. Put it back in and it works fine!

Did it just need a professional cleaning like a pellet stove?
