looking at a used 4n1 not the xl but the older one. can find any info on it . he is second owner and never used it. anyone got any experiance with one or know anything about them. it has blowers but there is no firebrick inside. also it has an 8 inch flue can i adapt down to 6 inch
 
I would walk away. I have the older 52 it is a pain. I wish now that I would have walk away. Depending on what year it was made it may take up 2 to 4 catalytic combustors. Only parts you can get for it is the glass, Gasket and the catalytic combustors. Appalachine has down size and it is hard to get customer service.
