Harman p38..older model...gray ash building up on glass...is this a sign that the glass gasket needs to be replaced?

Recently replaced door and ash bin gasket....

ash builds up in middle of glass and extends like fingers in 3 places towards the top .

thanks

Most pellet stoves will get a light grey or light brown ash accumulation on the glass eventually.

How long after you cleaned the glass did it appear? Maybe a pic of the ash/glass will help.
