Astoria pellet blockage

My pelletS get jammed up in the area that feeds the pellets. The pellets get so jammed up the auger stops.

Sounds like the pellets you are using are too long. That can happen with low grade pellets.

Exactly what Tim said. Bad pellets. Travis Industries uses a precision ground auger that should cut through just about anything you throw at it...unless is Nations Choice that is...lol

Hello

If the pellets or fire box gets wet or damp, that can also jam up the auger solid.
Example: A friend got a new Astoria and washed the dirty iron fire brick and put it back in the stove when it was still damp,
Instant auger jam! ! !
