I have recently had a harman accentra pellet insert install. We are very pleased but I was wondering if it is normal for the auger to be a little noisy when feeding pellets. It is somewhat like a mild virbration noise not a squeak like others mention. Thanks for any remarks.

The auger is driven by a gear motor. They do make a noise when running. I'm sitting here 15 feet away from mine and I can hear it. It's not loud but noticeable if you listen for it.

They all make somewhat of a low "rumble".....I don't even notice it anymore.
