I'm looking to buy a used pellet stove insert to supplement my heating. I currently have a propane fireplace in a constructed hearth(no chimney). I was wondering if I could install a 9 yr old austroflamm integra in my situation. The hearth is in the corner of the family room on a 45 degree angle with all of the hearth on the inside of the house. The dimensions of the current stove are 36" wide 32" height and 16" depth on the outside edges of the propane stove to the sheetrock wall behind with that distance getting deeper as you get closer to the center of the stove. Can I install this stove in this situation? Is their a zero clearance option for this and does it need to be zero clearance? Last question: Is $1600 too much to pay for this 9 year old stove? It holds 100 lbs of pellets and is very quiet from what I've read. Seems hard to find manuals and parts for the stove but if it's a good stove and a good deal I would consider it.
