Avalon DVS, any experience?

I'm looking at an Avalon DVS insert and wondering if anyone has any experience with these units and / or the company. Also, we're looking at propane rather than NG (it's not available), so we'll need the adapter...

My employer makes sure we always have a current "Travis" unit in our R&D;lab and its been a while since we had an insert, but the last one we had sells as a convertible unit with an included LP kit. What's interesting to us is that their LP unit has a turn down from 11 to 2.9. The industry standard is 10 to 6.4 inches of water.
