Anyone know if this is too far to go horizontal? My flex pipe goes up pretty high(at least 17ft chimney) and there is a great draw thru the elbow that comes down into the fireplace.
Looking at putting a bigger stove on the floor(my hearth is 7" above the floor so most stoves rear vents will be too high if i stsrt there), clearing the hearth, and venting into existing zc.
Thanx.

It may be ok if you can give it a nice rise toward the liner from the stove. In 32" I'd like to see about 1" uphill pitch to the pipe.

I have about an inch with the Isle Royale. The Jotul 600F's back vent is a half inch higher so there's barely a half inch rise to the elbow.
Is that a deal breaker?

That's a tough one. I don't think it is a deal breaker, but I would lean toward the Isle Royale with its lower height and it tends to be less draft sensitive.
