Bad seal on door glass. Now what?

So this thing has been running really hot on full loads lately and I think extra air is getting in from around the glass. I took the glass off, cleaned stuff a little and reinstalled. There's still 2 areas that the fireproof seal can be moved around after everything is tightened back up.

So tomorrow I'll pick up a new seal and see what happens. Any tips or tricks on getting this thing to seal up tighter? I tried to fold over the seal on itself so it was double thickness but that didn't work.
