hello all the baffle plate is showin signs of bowing, its a cast iron plate i believe. i am considering using stainless steel for the next one? would it be ok and give more heat out with it being reflective. or would it melt?

Thick steel or stainless would probably work, though stainless would be much more expensive. I wouldn't expect a big difference in heat output.

What stove make/model is this?

hello thankyou for that, i am unaware of the name of it i have owned it for aprox 2 years glass double doors two opening vents at bottom and three airwash vents at top.
