Conversation this evening with another stove owner said the pellet bagging plant could not get pellets from out west because the railroad hasn't the capacity because they are hauling Bakken crude. He counted six engines in front of a whole string of new tankers.
 
The box stores around me got a surprise shipment of pellets last week. Didn't see what brand though.
 
Might be a Cheerios shortage. Oats that gets shipped by rail is being displaced by the shipping of crude too. Was on yesterdays news morning show. Could be a cold upcoming winter, no fuel for stoves and no hot oatmeal:(
 
The bad weather also is partly to blame… Earth Sense had 18 rail cars stuck in the snow...
