Howdy again,

This year has been busy, and many responsibilities I'd rather never repeat. 'Nuff said there...

Finally, a major scrounge came through. I'll post on that later. I'm fair to middlin' on bark ID on the trees I know, but this has me "stumped", so to speak. Smooth bark, large growth rings, light color wood, but a distinctive bark pattern. I've chosen to leave it behind. Am I mistaken?

Anybody know what this is?
Thanks!

Sumac tree - garbage wood bro.

Thank you. My spider sense was right, then! Well, I got plenty of good stuff, and after one more trip, I'll get that post ready.

Behind that sumac looks like black locust. Did you get that?

Sho' 'Nuff! Hopefully I'll make a post about that. Got one last trip there today. Thought I'd wait for it to warm up a little before go out there!! ;-)
