Getting ready to install a stove in my basement. I want to go through the block wall horizontal, then vertical to about 4 ' above my facia board. The facia is out about 12" from the exterior wall of my home. I do not want to go through the soffet then trough the roof because it is only a 12" overhang. My question is, can I have the pipe stand off my home 14-16" so I don't have to cut through the soffet and roof ? Thanks
