So my beagle was sleeping underneath the chair by the stove and she accidentally rolled onto the power strip and shut it off...uh-oh there goes the power...I waited for the inevitable and was pleasantly surprised that not a wiff of smoke came out. I put it back on to let it cool down properly and moved the power strip further back...but I was impressed.

I hear UL is adding a Beagle test in 2018.

Bet that beagle figured she was pulling a fast one by finding a protection zone under the chair away from the other pups:) Glad to hear the residual blower movement and venting kept the smoke out of the house...

excellent now you know that in the event of a power outage you are good
