A neighbor up-canyon is doing a remodel, wants to turn a round copper planter into a sink basin. What works best to remove the green deposits and tarnish on the inside of the bowl? Currently have Tarn-X and Brasso on hand, but not used either at this point. Suggestions?

Ammonia will make copper clean and shiny
Mr. Clean or whatever the strongest concentration no-name you can find.
adding vinegar in equal parts will kick it up a notch - don't dilute with water -probably should work outside/well ventilated area
