This is nice to. I need to see if theres a dealer close to me. Thank you.

I bought the hampton insert HI300. You can find them at hampton-fire.com Its really on what you want to spend and the look. Mine is cast enamel for the face. Others are plate steel. Steel can be repainted to a different color. As for the quote isn't it "eye of the beer holder???"

Well, I'm partial to the Osburn. Best fire view in the business, and since that's 99% of what your looking at with an insert...

I also like the Hearthstone, Hampton, and Lopi's. If I didn't buy an Osburn 1800i, I'd have a Lopi Revere.

I know people who have had Lopi's for a lot of years, and they are performing well after 10 years

Lopi declaration

hey bud did you install that declaration in a masonary fireplace?
do you have any pics and how much do you like it

We heat a 1000 sq. ft. bungalow from the basement, so I guess you could say 2000 sq.ft.
With the fan system I installed, the basement is only a couple of degrees warmer than the main floor.
This takes care of most of our heating needs, electric baseboard heaters take care of the rest.

I burn ~ 5 cords /yr. in it.

There are colder places, but Winnipeg is the coldest city over 500,000.

Wow! 5 cords. I give you alot of credit. Im going to look into the stove that you use.How long have you had it??

We bought it in April '03, so let's see..
'03-'04
'04-'05
'05-'06
'06-'07

We've been using it for 4 winters, just starting our 5th heating season.

Parts used, 1 firebrick, 1 door gasket, and 2 baffle gaskets.
