I would like to invite anyone with Biomass combo unit. I am interested about discussing switching from wood to oil/ propane.

I have biomass 40 combo and i was wondering if anyone have been successful with switch over from wood to oil. It seems to me that there is not enough draft for oil burner.

Smoke comes out of the front air flap. It seems i got not enough draft when the chimney is cold.

How much comes out? Is it just a little puff, or ?

Sometimes with my old combo, I could see a little puff come out my wood draft door when the oil burner kicked it. It was real short & small, and I think almost got sucked right back in again after a couple seconds. I think if I wasn't there to see it, I wouldn't have noticed.

Are your smoke pipes & chimney clean? Has this always been an issue or is it something that wasn't happening before?
