Looking at putting one in. Some question I have are it has a forced air kit can it be used as a fireplace and wood furnace. I have seen some places that people say you can not hook the into your forced air system. It would be located in one end of our two story house. We are starting from scratch, we have no fire place know so we will be installing a zero clearance fireplace. We have looked a smaller ones, our house is 2300sq feet, so the forced air kit looks good.
Thanks in advance
Billy

Welcome Billy. That is not allowed. Instead design the ducted system independent from the central heating system. Consider placing the intake duct for the fireplace near the opposite side of the house. That will pull warm air from the fireplace across the house. Be sure to size and insulate the duct accordingly.

From the manual:
"Do not connect the hot air ducts to a central heating system. Malfunction of the heating
system’s fan will cause the fireplace to overheat. A furnace duct is only single wall and
not double wall as is required for the BIS TRADITION™ hot air exhaust."
