Blaze King when not in use question.

Probably a dumb question.
When I'm not burning is the proper thing to do keeping the bypass door in the shut position and the thermostat turned all the way down?

I dont know if it matters.

I leave my bypass door open all summer so the gasket doesnt compress as fast.

Some users here leave their loading doors cracked all summer to to extend the life if the door gasket.

Never thought about a storage tstat setting.
