I got my Santa Fe last february and only burnt about 15 bags last year. So far this year I have gone through about 1.6 tons. My question is, does a stove break in and get hotter ?? Because mine seems to be hotter now than it was say when I got it, and I mean a big difference. I'm burning same pellets, Pro Pellets and Somersets.

Is there a break in period ??

None that I know of... maybe you are getting better at running it!

Haven't really changed anything...

I would say getting better at keeping it clean and running closer to optimum. Some let it get dirty and clean when the heat drops and some keep up on the cleaning so it runs more consistent and gives almost every BTU possible out the blower vent.
