Breckwell Vermont Gold Door/Want a Black One

    Just got a Breckwell Vermont P4000 Vermont Cast pellet stove. It came with the gold door when I ordered a black one. My wife cannot live with the gold door. I know this is a long shot but wanted to put it out there.

    Anyone have this stove with a black door that would prefer a gold one? My door is 100% brand new. The seller is supposed to get me one from the manufacturer and exchange but I am not completely confident in them.

    Best bet is to check locally and find someone or someplace that will sandblast the gold off. Use Stove Bright paint and paint it. Remove the glass prior to sandblasting.
