Must be a bad day for Fiskars :-S

A Jacka55 at work today broke one also - but it was form abuse.. Got it stuck, then wacked it with a sledge to buried it deeper, than "got it out" by twisting the handle E & W! Got it out he did - now we have a $40 wedge (was a Pro Splitter) and a piece of fiberglass that I can beat him upside the head!

Can ya tell that I work with/against a bunch of incompetent idiots ?!

On a better note - beside the ding I put in the edge of the Super from a hidden rock, about a half cord of (norway) maple, oak, and cherry, has been "down-sized" by the Fiskars Family, by one member or the other or more ;-)

I still have to get a "taller" splittin block, but all is good here...

Don't even have to spend the money to ship the unit back to them, Let me know how this shakes out cause I was wondering if the Warranty was any good, They show the thing getting run over by a tractor in their advertising, I would think that they would stand behind it if you were using it to split wood!!

I'm sorry for your loss.

How long had you known her? Was it an abusive relationship? Did you see it coming, or was it quick and unexpected?
