I am new to this forum, Anyway I have a Earth stove and the door broke at the top hinge. Made of pot metal so can't weld I don't think. Any suggestions on where to get a new or used door?? PS. I got a quote of $540 for a new door for wood stove insert I paid $200 for. I am located in Southern Maryland. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help.

I'd be surprised if it was pot metal. Most likely cast.
Try contacting a good pro welding shop and ask them if they can do a repair for you; you may be surprised.
You can grind off the excess and paint, it may be better than new....
