I believe I have done my due diligence. I cannot find a guide or thread with any info on these and how they operate.
I want to know how to get max efficiency. When do I open/close the flue in the back? There is a baffle with a vent in the front and a lever on the back to open or close another. I also have a damper in my stack so I would like to hear some success stories.
Also there are 3 little eyes cast up on either side of the combustion chamber. One or 2 look like they have old rusted cotter keys in them. Any ideas what they were for?
