Bought a whitfield pellet stove last year....LOVE this thing.

Costs me around $600 to get half a tank or less of oil.

Got thru last winter with 2.5 tons of pellets. We only burn the stove when we get home though and the oil keeps the house
around 55* when we're out.

We dont really trust the stove on when we're not around to keep our eye on it.

Wife lost her job and is having a hard time finding another one so.....I'm wondering what/how much pellets are
burned if you burn all day.

Thanks
TJ

it's warmer during the day so you should use less pellets....
but depending on locale I would say double the usage..... I'd say 4-5 ton a season...
Don't forget with global warming and all the #s could be lower this year...... :cheese:
