been a week now with out a fire. now time to give it a good cleaning and put her to sleep for the summer ( I hope).

I hear ya mags. Its about time it warmed up! We really didnt have a spring this year. IMO it went from winter straight to summer. But im just glad its finally here!

HAAAAAAAAAA

Had a fire all night last night. Got home at 6:30 pm and cleaned the Prodigy a quicky and tossed a fire in it, ran all night and is still on this morning.

Will probably shut it down after breakfast for the day as the weather is supposed to on and off sunbreaks with heavy showers at times.

Nooooooooooooo stove season is not over quite yet, at least here anyway.

(About 25 miles south of Portland Ore)

Yeh me too. Buned up the last bag. Now nothing for tonight. Shiver!

Are you Folks in the Northwest getting snow in the mountains?
Hope you get your Summer this year!!
This weather is nuts!
Was 80 yesterday afternoon and humid. Actually put 2 air conditioners in upstairs.
Pollen is quite bad so A/C helps with us who have allergies.
We did have a fire within the last 2 weeks.
Right now at 6 AM it is 58 out and a bit humid.
Oil prices right now at CN Brown for pre buy and budget are around $3.50/gal!!
Pellets for next year went up $10/ton ($210) but oil has gone up $.60-$.70/gal.
The stove will have paid for itself after next Winter is over.
We saved about $700 this year and next year will be close to $1000.

Barring any isolated incidence of our neighbors to the North sending down some real cool weather, the stove is FINALLY done for the season. Cleaning will be done next weekend. Hope to not think about it again until October. May be getting some Energex Americans for next winter....$225/ton.

Well, burn season is certainly not over here yet.

Yesterday the little stove ran on low all day long to keep the house at 70F

Been cool and showery/rainy off and on.

Yesterday was cool and cloudy but no rain.

Today is supposed to be about the same with rain developing tonight.

The coming week looks to be little better with showers, T storms and cool temps in the offing.

Little Prodigy just got a fill up of shells and am running it on number 2 right now to heat up the stack and burn off the residue of having been on low all day yesterday and last night.

Maybe in a week or so we will be done with the stoves ??????????????????

Mid 90's past two days, burn season finally over?? Hope to give it a good cleaning soon.

North West Washington State getting down to the high 40s overnight. When day time temp gets to 55 by early afternoon (or before) I can shut down the pellet burner and the house stays close to 70 degrees. Still watching for summer but it is still spring up here. 5 bags left; come-on summer!!
