Did a complete clean out (did not do leaf blower trick) , inside stove, vent pipe (with vent pipe brush), removed rear portion and cleaned fines department, also took paint brush and cleaned fins on blower fins......

My setup is stove is in Living room and goes straight up through ceiling......

Started right up / but there is a burning smell.

Need more specifics on this burning smell. What kind of burning, wood, paper, electrical?

Possible you had a leak in your vent (see stove adapter) and the vent cleaning removed the ash that was sealing it?

Heard it happen here several times.

If you removed your t-cap when you cleaned the leak could be coming from there. It is also possible while using a vent brush to break a silicone seal.
