Is there a way to check the moisture content of pellets sold on classified ads? Would a wood moisture tester work on pellets by probing through the bag to get a reading? I know the feel of somewhat dry pellets in a bag feels like but I just want to make a purchase to be a good one.

Don't know if moisture tester will work, but worth a shot. Or maybe the seller will let you use their microwave.
