    Some told me that the parent company of Quarafire bought Harman. Did anybody else hear this?

    yep- happened around September 2007.
    There are quite a bit of threads on here discussing it.

    From what I understand, HHT is the parent company of both,
    but Harman and Quad are still operating separately.

    That worked out perfectly for my old competitor. He sold Quad Harman and Regency. Now all his money gets to go into one pot and if a cabin happens to launch again it's no big deal because big daddy HHT will be there to pat him on the back and say its ok.
