Feeling the Heat

I have started hearing a new buzzing noise on my Lopi Leyden FS when it initially turns on.

Usually it will make this noise as the first large flame begins to get going, about 2-4 minutes after it cycles on. I use the thermostat control now that it is getting warmer. It seems like it stops if I hold the left back metal panel down from the left side. There is an entry point there and when I held that down, which is the source of the noise, it stopped. After about 3 minutes of this fairly loud buzzing noise it winds down and it works normally meaning it feeds and burns and blows heat as it should without this noise. Anyone have any idea on this? ;?

my stove makes some rattles form time to time. it's a metal object with moving parts. a light tap here or there every now and then, and a good cleaning usually clears it up.

Have never heard anything like that on my Lopi. Did you forget to replace a screw on the back metal screen panel?

Just found it. The convection fan looks like it has a slight gap at the attachment to the stove. Probably will be changing the gasket and tightening down the bolts with the spring cleanup/tuneup.
