I should be finished burning through my shorts. It's always a mixed bag when all of the wood scraps and bark pieces are gone. It's easier to load 3 splits compared to 30 pieces of wood and bark, but it also means regular winter weather is just around the corner.

I throw them on top of and in between my stacks/rows so I burn them all year long. They actually work well in filling the firebox in small doses.

I don't bother with bark - to much ash - I would rather compost it with the leaves and grass.

And get over to Penneys or wherever & pick up a couple new 3-packs. Rick
