Can coal be used legally these days in my DutchWest FA stove?

Back to the OP. I think the question should not be is is legal, but is it a good idea? Yes, you may be able to burn coal in it. But if the stove is not designed to burn coal is it worth destroying parts? If you live in a coal region and want to burn coal, get a proper coal stove that is designed to do a good job with it. Your satisfaction level will be much higher.
