Hi Folks,

Got my pellets delivered today. One ton of pellets was on a pressed wood pallet. Any problem cutting it up and burning it in my wood stove?

Thanks,

Evan

Particle board and chipboard have glues binding them that are toxic when burned.

Okay...makes sense not to burn it. But what do I do with it? This is the first time I've received one of these types of pallets.

Break it up and put it out for bulk pick up.

If it were me Id toss it on the bottom of one of my burn piles but you may not have that option. If you cut it up into small pieces you could feed it through the wood stove a little at a time, like kindling.

Probably shouldn't burn it, but it will do quite nicely to stack stuff on...
